Are you ready to play a key role in IT service management and transition?

We are looking for aService Introduction Officerto manage the seamless integration of new IT services into live environments!

Offering a salary of£28k-£30k, an18% pension, and a hybrid working arrangement (3 days in Manchester), this role offers the perfect blend of challenge and development for those passionate about IT project management.

In this role, you will work closely with project managers, technical teams, and third-party suppliers to ensure all new services meet the necessary operational and technical standards before going live. Youll be responsible for supporting service design and helping to manage the transition process from project development to live operations, ensuring minimal disruption to business services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and coordinate the introduction of new IT services, ensuring they are fully tested, compliant, and ready for operational use.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external suppliers to develop and implement effective service design processes.
  • Lead service introduction forums, ensuring all stakeholders are informed and all operational requirements are met.
  • Ensure documentation and user guides are developed for new services, supporting a smooth transition.
  • Evaluate service performance post-launch, identify areas for improvement, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

What You'll Need:

  • Experience in IT service management or a similar role, particularly managing the transition from project to live operations.
  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience working with third-party vendors and managing service delivery against contractual agreements.
  • Familiarity with ITIL principles or similar service management frameworks is desirable.
