Weare looking for a dynamic EVENTS OPERATIONS SUPERVISOR to be instrumental in running our Conference Centre at theexceptional Crowne Plaza MarlowFieldhouse Lane, Marlow Bucks SL7

The Hotel with a magnificent lakeside location, has 168 spacious bedrooms, a Conference Centre with 8 meeting rooms for up to 400 in the largestWinterlake suite, extensive Quad Wellness & Spa facilities and the stylish brand new Glaze One AA Rosette restaurant and Aqua Bar & Lounge with stunning views over the lake

The hotel has been the subject of a multi -million pound refurbishment project to make it the finest Crowne Plaza Resort Hotel in the UK

You will be responsible for supporting the Events Operations Manager to overseeing the smooth running of all conferences and events in the conference centre.

You will be required to implement all client requirements as per the function sheets and to engage with Conference & Event organisers to ensure all their requirements are being successfully delivered.

You will be based in the conference reception/ hosting desk where you will be required to communicate with and ensure that all relevant hotel departments ie front office& F&B fully support client requirements.

As part of your tasks, you will be required to oversee all deliveries being received at the hotel and to ensure a thorough check of every item against the purchase order, signing of deliveries, and immediate/ safe storage of items , with provision of signed and checked delivery notes/ invoices to the accounts department for payment

You will be responsible for all pre -billing and billing on the day and to check the account and ensure accuracy and capture of all revenues. This will require previous knowledge of Micros and Opera software.

You will need to ensure that the full cleaning regime by the night team has been undertaken and where appropriate be hands on with respect to maintaining a professional and clean environment in the conference centre. You will be involved in the delivery of tea/ coffee service and lunch if required in the meeting rooms.

This opportunity has arisen due to the relocation of the existing Assistant Event Operations Supervisor abroad

Previous experience in a branded hotel environment in a food & beverage / conference and events operations assistant management basis is preferred

The Requirements for the Events Operations Supervisor/ Receiving Assistant :

Youshould also have excellent communication skills both written and verbal.

Successful candidates should ideally have a solid events and operations background, preferably in a branded Hotel environment, with a passion to succeed.
