Do you have strong Food & Beverage Management,
Wedding and Hotel Operations experience?
The Croft, nr Darlington, is a 24 bedroom hotel, restaurant and elegant bespoke wedding venue, is looking to appoint an Operations Manager.
You will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of the Hotel & Wedding Venue, with direct reports including all Heads of Department. You must have prior experience in delivering luxury, tailored Weddings, with a strong focus on Food & Beverage management, including GP and payroll control. An eye for detail is essential, in leading the Team to deliver an excellent guest experience.
The successful candidate will enjoy playing a key role in driving the culture and motivating colleagues with a fun positive approach.
Key objectives of the role:
Day to day operational management in the GMs absence.
Drive operational communication, e.g.10 & 10, shift briefings, HOD Meetings, etc.
Driving F&B Revenue, creating inhouse promotions & team targets.
Delivering exceptional Weddings, tailored to individual requirements,
Leading the Team in delivering memorable moments for every guest,
Creating a strong Team spirit, one team, one goal
Payroll & F& B Control, aligned to budget.
Efficient in the use of technology and interfaces that support the operation.
Skilled at coaching, training, and developing a team a great trainer.
A strong compliance understanding across Food Safety/H&S/Fire/Employment Legislation, with the ability to coach HODs in daily Compliance Management,
Supporting the General Manager, and leading HODs with a proactive, positive, forward-thinking mindset
Ability to develop links with the local community, and educational establishments, to foster our reputation locally as an Employer of Choice.
Responsible for local recruitment, with an understanding of employment legislation.
About you:
Youll have prior senior management experience in a hotel or wedding venue, overseeing food & beverage, with a strong weddings focus.
