Whatyou'll do

As aCredit Risk Analyst, you’ll be supporting the business throughdeveloping and maintaining risk and decision support strategies,providing other analytically driven insight and innovativesolutions to achieve futurepriorities.

You’ll alsobe:

  • Supporting theanalytical requirements from the credit portfolio teams on areassuch as leading indicators, forward looking credit risks andpotential threats to the portfolio from wider economic and marketthreats
  • Making sure that the personal andprivate mortgage portfolios continue to perform within risk limitframeworks
  • Driving active and effective changemanagement through the successful design, development and deliveryof key strategic initiatives
  • Liaising andinfluencing the franchise regarding ongoing credit customermanagement and projects
  • Providing insight andchallenge where appropriate, while contributing to the automationagenda

Theskills you'llneed

To succeed inthis role, you’ll need a degree level qualification, ideally in anumerate discipline and experience with coding languages, coupledwith excellent data driven analyticalskills.

In addition, you’lldemonstrate:

  • A goodunderstanding of the banking industry and a desire to develop acareer in risk management
  • Proficiency withanalytical and presentation tools
  • Projectmanagement skills and the ability to work as a team and withstakeholders
  • An ability to explain technicalsubject matter to a nontechnicalaudience
