This growing plant sales and service business with considerable growth opportunity are looking to recruit a Group Service Manager to lead the operation and develop their offering to a broad client base.
Description
Reporting into the Managing Director the Group Service Manager will lead a team of engineers, via Team Leaders, across 3 service depots. You will have responsibility for the full service operation and will be tasked with developing systems, processes and people as the business continues to grow it's already significant service operation.
Based from the Leicestershire HQ, the Group Service Manager will sit on the leadership team for the organisation and work closely with the commercial and technical teams to develop efficiencies and drive profitability. You will have the autonomy to drive change and will be expected to challenge all aspects of the existing operation to unearth opportunity moving forward.
Day to day responsibility will include:
- Planning and delivering all service work
- Effectively manage the Workshops and staff, including mobile fitters
- Drive performance and metrics
- Support the commercial functions
- Lead best in class health and safety
Profile
The successful Group Service Manager will have a proactive approach and possess a range of the following:
- Proven experience in leading the service function of a complex business
- A strong technical background comfortable working with a range of plant and equipment
- Exposure to best in class systems
- Proven leadership acumen
