Theatre Scrub Nurse - Private Hospital - Central London (Permanent)

Introduction
Are you an experienced Theatre Scrub Nurse looking for a new opportunity to work in a prestigious private hospital in the heart of Central London? Duties
As a Theatre Scrub Nurse, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Assisting surgeons during procedures by ensuring that the operating room is prepared with the necessary instruments, equipment, and supplies.
- Ensuring patient safety and maintaining a sterile environment throughout the surgical process.
- Working collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team, including surgeons, anaesthetists, and healthcare assistants, to provide high-quality care.
- Monitoring the patient's condition and responding to any changes or emergencies during surgery.
- Maintaining accurate records and adhering to hospital policies and health & safety regulations.
- Assisting in the training and support of junior staff as needed.
Experience
The ideal candidate will have:
- A valid Nursing and Midwifery Council registration (NMC).
- Previous experience working as a Scrub Nurse in a theatre setting, preferably in a private healthcare environment.
- A strong understanding of surgical procedures and aseptic techniques.
- The ability to remain calm under pressure and adapt to a fast-paced, high-stakes environment.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- A commitment to continuous professional development and patient-centred care.
