Description

  • Carrying out documented Quality, hygiene and other compliance checks to an agreed frequency that may include spot checks and scheduled internal audits
  • Administering required calibration, laundry, pest control, vending and safety service & repair requirements including contact with suppliers and purchasing & issuing of equipment
  • Filing of completed records in an organized system.
  • Carrying out induction training, coordinating other relevant training and maintaining up to date Quality, Compliance & Safety training records
  • Assisting in the investigation of Quality, Safety & Environmental issues and the assessment of Quality, Hygiene, Safety & Environmental aspects of processes.
  • Analysing trend data related to these topics.
  • Ensuring non-conforming materials & products are identified and controlled, with records completed showing action taken to repair or reject items and claims to suppliers.
  • Attending third party audit inspections and providing administrative support in the run up to these and on the day.
  • Participating in Quality Improvement projects.
  • Maintaining an administered system of technical data and supplying this to customers where required.
  • Checking supplied Quality Conformance data such as suppliers' certificates
  • Collecting and compiling data in-house and from suppliers for Packaging Waste compliance and Carbon Footprint reporting.Providing general admin support for Compliance related systems including data entry and filing
  • Deputising for the Senior Quality Compliance Manager

Profile

  • Internal Auditing to Quality Standards such as ISO9001 and/or BRCGS
  • HACCP Level 3 or 2
  • Food Hygiene Level 2 or above
  • IOSH Managing Safety
  • Experience working in Quality or Supervisory role in a Manufacturing or Commercial environment
  • They should have a good knowledge of the principles of Quality, Food Hygiene standards and Safety.
  • They should be able to work well with individuals and teams, demonstrating self-confidence, strength of character and self-motivation.
