As the Junior CAD Technician at Popeyes, you will play a crucial role in assisting our Head of Design with the preparation of drawings and design layouts for new restaurant sites. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual looking to develop their skills in a fast-paced environment while contributing to our ambitious growth plans.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation of detailed CAD drawings for new restaurant sites, ensuring accuracy and compliance with brand standards.
  • Collaborate with the Head of Design and other team members to understand project requirements and timelines.
  • Support the design team in creating layouts that enhance operational efficiency and customer experience.
  • Revise and update existing drawings based on feedback from the design team and project stakeholders.
  • Maintain organized records of all drawings and design documents, ensuring easy accessibility and version control.
  • Participate in design reviews and contribute ideas for continuous improvement.
  • Assist with site visits and on-site measurements as needed to inform design decisions.

Qualifications:

  • A relevant qualification in CAD design, architecture, or a related field (e.g., HND, degree, or equivalent experience)
  • Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD essential, Photoshop/InDesign favourable - Revit/Enscape/Sketchup a plus).
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to produce accurate and high-quality drawings.
  • Basic understanding of architectural and engineering principles is advantageous.
  • A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced setting.
  • Familiarity with restaurant design or the food service industry is a plus, but not essential.
