Working Hours: 40 hours per week, Mon-Fri, 9am 6pm

Holidays: 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Data Platform, BI Strategic Partner to join our dynamic team. The Data Platform, BI Strategic Partner will be responsible for overseeing the development, implementation, and management of business intelligence projects. This role requires a combination of technical expertise, project management skills, and the ability to work closely with stakeholders across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Planning and Management

Create Detailed Plans: Develop comprehensive project plans that include timelines, milestones, and budgets to keep everything on track.

Define Scope and Objectives: Work with stakeholders to clearly define the projects scope, objectives, and deliverables.

Monitor Progress: Keep an eye on the projects progress, adjusting as necessary to ensure everything stays on schedule.

Regular Meetings: Hold regular status meetings with the project team and stakeholders to keep everyone updated and aligned.

  • Stakeholder Coordination

Primary Contact: Serve as the main point of contact between business stakeholders and technical teams.

Gather Requirements: Collect, document, and prioritize business requirements for BI projects to ensure all needs are met.

Ensure Communication: Maintain clear and consistent communication among all parties involved to avoid misunderstandings.

  • BI Solution Development

Oversee Development: Manage the design, development, and deployment of BI tools and systems.

Data Integration: Ensure data integration processes are managed effectively, maintaining data quality and consistency.

Technical Collaboration: Collaborate with technical teams to develop robust data models and architecture.

Skills

  • Experience of 5 years in a similar role.

  • Demonstrated ability to build, maintain and monitor modern data environments

  • Proficiency in at least one CI/CD continuous deployment tool

  • Experience of snowflake would be a plus

  • Technical Skills: Knowledge in BI tools (e.g., Power BI - DAX), data warehousing, SQL, Python, ETL processes, and data modelling. Familiarity with data visualization and reporting tools. Experience of snowflake would be a plus.

  • Proficiency in at least one cloud technology, ideally AWS, and Azure would be a plus.

  • Project Management: Knowledge of project management methodologies (and tools, e.g. Jira, Confluence)

  • Soft Skills: Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills. Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
