Our client, a progressive and forward-looking NHS Trust, is seeking a skilled Clinical Pharmacist to join their dedicated team in Blackpool. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate healthcare professional to contribute to the Trust’s mission of delivering high-quality, patient-centered care.

As a Clinical Pharmacist, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional pharmaceutical care to patients. Working on a rotational basis, you will collaborate with the Pharmacy team to ensure timely patient reviews and deliver the best possible service within available resources and capacity.

Responsibilities:

 

  • Participate in the day-to-day clinical Pharmacy service through a team-based approach
  • Review patients in a timely manner, ensuring optimal medication therapy
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
  • Provide expert advice on medication safety, efficacy, and cost-effectiveness
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of clinical guidelines and protocols
  • Engage in continuous professional development to stay current with emerging trends and best practices
