Content Creator

·
Full time
Job offered by: Pixi Inc.
Category:
Location: London

Our Company:

Pixi was created in 1999 and launched in our Flagship Boutique in Soho, London. Pixi has a loyal worldwide following thanks to its pure, awakening, and skin-loving products that create a naturally radiant ‘’just had a good night sleep’’ look.

Passionate about skincare, Petra creates innovative formulations that are infused with botanicals and beneficial ingredients. Petra has real-world experience as a busy working mother of four; therefore, Pixi is truly about multi-tasking, flaw-fixing, and youth-enhancing products for women on the go with no time to spare.

Pixi’s mission is the same now as it was on the first day the Pixi store opened: simply to bring out the natural beauty in all women—to make women look like themselves, only better! Flawless in a few fuss-free minutes—that’s what Pixi is about!

The Role:

We are looking for an ambitious coordinator that can make a huge impact on a brand looking to continue to grow an online community.

In this role, you'll be responsible for the day-to-day ideation, production, creation, and editing of all native social media content from start to finish. The Content Creator is passionate about creating engaging, entertaining, and informative social media content specific to each platform. You will understand the unique nuances of each specific social media and digital platform, and supported by the team’s regular reporting, you will know the anatomy of creating content that will thrive with the audiences of each. You will have proven experience in photography and videography, as well as beauty product styling.

Responsibilities:

  • Content, content, content.
  • Create, produce, edit, and manage best-in-class, engaging, and fun social media content (focusing on assets with movement (gifs, videos, etc.) but not exclusively) to attract, engage, and grow the Pixi and POPbeauty audiences on social media and across all digital platforms.
  • From ideation (pitching ideas, creating mood boards, etc.) to filming and editing, be responsible for implementing and project managing shoots for video content.
  • Suggest appropriate copy for the post captions.
  • Taking inspiration from mood boards and briefs, execute and project manage shoots for still images and moving content (at least 3 shoot days a week, producing a minimum of 25 assets a week).
  • Building a strong understanding of video shoot styling for Pixi Beauty and POPbeauty.
  • Select and shortlist images from each shoot for review.
  • Comply with copyright and privacy regulations across all copy, images, and multimedia, and ensure release forms are implemented for all models being used for SM assets.
  • Monitor and stay on top of emerging trends in social media, culture, and applications to appropriately apply that knowledge for content creation.
  • All other responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Passion for all things beauty, social media, photography, and video.
  • Strong photography and styling skills.
  • Knowledge of social media channels and platforms, including (but not limited to) TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and Pinterest.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and grow an engaging audience for social media platforms.
  • Must be comfortable behind and in front of the camera (when appropriate).
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment while working effectively and collaboratively with others.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit with a proven ability to self-manage.
