Our client, is looking to expand their data capabilities with the addition of a talented Data Scientist. This is an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects that harness data to drive impactful business decisions and solve complex challenges.


The successful candidate will bring strong analytical skills and hands-on experience with machine learning, statistical analysis, and data engineering to help our client enhance data-driven strategies and insights.


Key Responsibilities

  • Build and deploy machine learning models that contribute to business improvement across different areas.
  • Conduct statistical analysis to identify trends and insights from large data sets.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to translate findings into actionable business strategies.
  • Carry out data wrangling, cleaning, and pre-processing to ensure data integrity.
  • Utilise Python, R, SQL, and cloud technologies to manage and interpret data effectively.
  • Develop data visualisation techniques to present findings in a clear and compelling way to stakeholders.
  • Stay updated on industry trends to continuously refine analytics practices.


Key Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R.
  • Solid command of SQL for data manipulation and extraction.
  • Experience with machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, scikit-learn, or PyTorch.
  • Familiarity with cloud environments, including AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.
  • Strong statistical skills and experience using libraries like Pandas, NumPy, and Matplotlib.
  • Proficiency in data visualisation tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Matplotlib).
  • Degree in a relevant quantitative discipline such as Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of conveying complex data insights to non-technical audiences.
