Brand Manager – Retailer Brands

Hertfordshire based Head Office – Hybrid working (2d per week)

£50-60k / bonus / package

  • Holds a 30% volume share of the UK’s Retailer Brands in their category.
  • Is now seeking a Brand Manager to join their Retailer Brands team.


The role:

  • This role supports the Own Label Brands Director and is key to delivering the business Retailer Brand strategy for a strategic group of customers.
  • As Brand Manager, you will manage the effective delivery of the NPD/EPD pipeline and oversee business wide initiatives that impacts the Retailer Brand portfolio.
  • You will understand and communicate customer strategies and priorities and contribute to development of long-term strategic retailer plans


Key responsibilities as Brand Manager:

  • Understand and communicate key customer strategies and priorities
  • Creating and implementing product plans
  • Delivery of retailer brand product launches, NPD and EPD
  • Full P&L responsibility for your portfolio
  • Working cross functionally with sales, category and brand teams to ensure business alignment


Brand Manager requirements:

  • FMCG background
  • Good understanding of product development and manufacturing processes including stage gate, S&OP and product costings
  • Numerical with good presenting skills
  • NPD and innovation experience
  • Customer-facing experience with UK retailers
