Junior Marketing Manager - Health & Wellness Start-Up!

Hybrid | 2 days at home, 3 days in office - West Yorkshire

£30,000 - £35,000 + discretionary bonus!

Are you passionate about marketing, social media, and building a brand from the ground up?

Do you want to work with a fast-paced, growing company where your ideas truly make an impact?

If so, this is the perfect role for you!

We are seeking a dynamic and creative Junior Marketing Manager to join an exciting Health & Wellness start-up brand in West Yorkshire!

This isn’t just any marketing role – it’s a chance to shape the marketing strategy, create innovative content, and engage with a thriving community as the business continues to expand.

About the Company:

This is a fast-growing, start-up brand with a unique, innovative healthy product offering. The team currently consists of three key members, but with projections to reach £2.5m in turnover next year, there’s huge potential for growth. You’ll be joining a collaborative team, including the Head of Ecommerce and Head of Customer Service, and working in brand-new offices that feature a content studio!

The company culture is fun, chatty, and full of energy – a true breath of fresh air in the fast-paced start-up world. If you’re excited about being part of a rapidly expanding brand and want to make your mark, this is the perfect opportunity for you.

Why You’ll Love This Role:

  • Full Circle Moment: As a customer turned recruiter, I can genuinely vouch for the brand’s amazing products – they’ve been a key part of my own health journey since January. I’m truly invested in what we do!
  • Own Your Marketing: This is a hands-on role where you can take ownership of the marketing function. The business is growing quickly, and you’ll have the opportunity to implement your own ideas and drive the strategy forward.
  • A Growing Brand: With a projected turnover of £2.5m next year, this isn’t a small start-up! You’ll be working in a fast-paced environment with a talented team as the brand prepares to expand into new territories and retailers.
  • Creative Freedom: From strategic planning to content creation, community management, and social media, you’ll have the freedom to bring your ideas to life and make a real impact.

About the Role:

You’ll be at the heart of the brand’s marketing efforts. You’ll be responsible for:

  • Creating Content: Develop and produce engaging content across a variety of platforms (social media, email marketing, website, etc.) that resonates with the target audience and drives brand awareness.
  • Managing Social Media: Oversee and manage the brand’s presence on TikTok, LinkedIn, Facebook, and Instagram, ensuring a consistent, on-brand voice across all channels.
  • Community Engagement: Build and nurture an engaged community on social media, responding to comments, engaging with followers, and helping grow the organic community across Facebook and Instagram.
  • Email Marketing: Create and manage email marketing campaigns that keep customers informed, engaged, and excited about new products and promotions.
  • Strategic Vision: Work closely with the leadership team (Head of Ecommerce and Head of Customer Service) to develop and execute a strategic marketing plan that takes the brand to new levels.
  • Weekly Innovation: Stay ahead of trends and bring fresh, innovative marketing ideas to the table, testing and optimizing campaigns to drive growth.
  • Collaborating with the Team: Work closely with the small but growing team in a collaborative, fun, and fast-paced environment.

Your Key Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a marketing role, with a strong focus on social media management, content creation, and community engagement.
  • Excellent copywriting and communication skills, with the ability to create engaging and authentic brand messaging.
  • A strategic thinker with the ability to execute on ideas and bring them to life with creativity and attention to detail.
  • Experience in email marketing and social media platforms (TikTok, LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook).
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • A hands-on, proactive approach – you’re not afraid to roll up your sleeves and get things done.
  • Personality! We’re looking for someone who is passionate, driven, and can bring a positive, energetic vibe to the team.

How to Apply:

If you're based in Leeds or commutable to the area, and you’re excited to take on a role where you can truly make an impact, please get in touch ASAP. I’d love to hear from you or anyone who might be a perfect fit for this incredible opportunity!

This role is ideal for someone who is not only passionate about marketing but is ready to take on the challenge of building a brand and its marketing function from the ground up. If you’re a proactive, creative, and strategic marketer, we want to hear from you!
