Position Overview

Apprentify Group seeks a commercially astute and results-driven Head of Content, Social & PR to spearhead our internal marketing agency. This pivotal role demands a strategic thinker with a proven track record of delivering measurable ROI through innovative content, social media, and PR initiatives. The successful candidate will be instrumental in transforming VIMIX into a world-class content generator, engaging and educating candidates and B2B customers across our operational companies.


Key Responsibilities:


Strategic Leadership

  • Lead and mentor a dynamic content team, establishing clear standards and fostering a culture of creativity and collaboration to enhance content quality and effectiveness.
  • Set measurable KPIs to evaluate content performance, ensuring alignment with broader marketing goals and driving continuous improvement across all content initiatives.
  • Strategically build and refine the content team by identifying skill gaps, providing professional development opportunities, and cultivating a high-performing environment that adapts to changing audience needs and industry trends.
  • Manage and support the smooth running of the internal ‘virtual studio’ to ensure all projects are delivered on time, to a very high standard.
  • Develop and execute a data-driven, ROI-focused content, social, and PR strategy aligned with Apprentifys commercial objectives and growth targets
  • Collaborate with the Group Head of Marketing to ensure all initiatives support overarching business goals and contribute to revenue growth
  • Implement cutting-edge content strategies that position VIMIX as an industry thought leader in digital and technical apprenticeships and talent recruitment


Commercial Acumen

  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of market dynamics, competitor activities, and industry trends to inform strategic decisions
  • Develop and manage KPIs that directly tie content, social, and PR efforts to business outcomes and financial performance
  • Optimise resource allocation and budget management to maximise ROI across all marketing initiatives


Cross-functional Collaboration

  • Work seamlessly with specialist group marketing services in design, acquisition, CRM, data, and videography to execute high-impact campaigns
  • Forge strong relationships with C-suite executives, effectively communicating the value and ROI of content, social, and PR strategies
  • Collaborate with operations companies to develop and implement branded client recruitment campaigns that drive measurable results


Innovation and Thought Leadership

  • Pioneer innovative content formats and distribution strategies that set VIMIX apart in the competitive landscape
  • Develop a content ecosystem that not only engages but also educates and converts both B2C candidates and B2B customers
  • Stay at the forefront of industry trends, continuously adapting strategies to maintain a competitive edge


Qualifications and Experience

  • 5+ years of experience in senior marketing roles, with a strong focus on content, social media, and PR
  • Proven track record of developing and executing marketing campaigns with demonstrable ROI and commercial impact
  • Deep understanding of both brand awareness and performance marketing principles, particularly in the education or apprenticeship sector
  • Experience in creating and managing multi-channel content strategies that drive engagement and conversions
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to tie marketing efforts directly to business outcomes
