What you’ll be doing

Upon joining the company’s growing Business Development team your role will focus on enhancing the company’s already strong reputation within the industry. You will also work with prospective customers managing a mix of warm leads and self-generated opportunities, handling sales cycles as you advance and gain experience with the company.

Your day-to-day might look a little like this:

  • Build relationships with trusted contacts via calls and meetings to gather insights and assess client challenges
  • Effectively engage and qualify potential clients to maintain a robust sales pipeline
  • Clearly and persuasively communicate our services to prospects.
  • Keep thorough records, documentation, and analysis of leads in the CRM system
  • Share targeted marketing materials with potential clients.
  • Conduct market mapping to gain in-depth knowledge of your industry landscape
  • Identify and pursue potential business opportunities within the client market
  • Perform competitor analysis to understand market dynamics
  • Drive revenue growth through proactive new business development efforts


A bit about you

Ideally, you’ll be based in the North of England.

For you to excel in this role you will need a minimum of 6 months experience in a sales and/or recruitment environment with demonstrated success in effectively communicating a product/service and achieving measurable results.

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Competitive, ambitious, and results-focused, with the confidence to thrive in a target-driven environment
  • Skilled at building rapport with prospects and maintaining relationships to close deals
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and adaptable, suited for a dynamic scale-up setting
  • Strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Proven ability to build trust with key stakeholders, both internal and external
  • Skilled at managing multiple high-pressure projects efficiently
