We are looking for an Automotive Systems Validation Engineer to drive forward the Automotive sector with Electrical and Embedded Systems to be based in Woking, Surrey. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference to the projects you work on, delivering cutting-edge vehicle software to a high-profile client.


Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with customers, suppliers, vehicle operators, and external test facilities to ensure accurate and timely Systems, Software, and Vehicle validation.
  • Work across multiple vehicle domains such as body, interdomain, FUSA, and Hybrid Supervisor to ensure Systems and Software changes meet requirements and integrate with wider vehicle systems.
  • Investigate System-Level problems to identify root causes and work with Systems, Software, and Hardware Teams to resolve issues efficiently.
  • Represent Expleo and the Validation Team to external stakeholders within the client and, in some instances, with external suppliers.
  • Prioritize workload to ensure higher priority issues/tests are scheduled appropriately and manage stakeholder expectations regarding test completion.


Skills & Experience:

  • A degree in Automotive Engineering or a similar discipline.
  • A passion for cars and motorsport.
  • Over 4 years of experience in an automotive software development environment (Design and Verification) is preferable, but strong candidates with less experience will be considered.
  • Working knowledge of the Systems Engineering V-model.
  • Experience with different automotive network standards and associated tools, e.g., CANbus and CANalyser, or Automotive Ethernet and CANape.
  • Experience in applying MBSE tools and techniques, including UML or SysML, and associated software, e.g., Simulink.
