About the Company
An award-winning, independent agency are looking for an SEO Account Manager to join their London office on a hybrid and flexible working basis: With 3 days a week in the office, and flexible working hours suited to your needs.
The business is an international agency with offices around the globe and works with international household name brands across a variety of industries. You will also have the opportunity in the future to work abroad at one of the business’s offices around the world.

SEO Account Manager Role & Responsibilities
Reporting to the SEO Account Director of your team, your main responsibilities will include overseeing the work of your team and supporting them in providing quality SEO to our clients. Additionally, you will:
- With support from the SEO Account Director and Head of SEO, be involved in the development and delivery of strategies across the accounts you work on.
- Take a hands-on approach in providing clients with consistent high-end optimisations, reports, and recommendations.
- Take the lead on day-to-day contact with clients.
- Perform day-to-day tasks such as keyword research, content optimisation, content strategy and outreach strategy to continually provide quality.
- Use your people management skills and experience and skills in SEO to guide and support the development of the SEO Executives in your team.
- Be proactive in your own learning and development, as you progress towards a Senior SEO Account Manager/ SEO Account Director position.
Skills and Experience
The company is committed to the personal development of its team by supporting them through individually tailored, internal and external training with input from the candidate, but does ask that you have:
- 2+ years of hands-on experience in SEO in an agency environment.
- Confidence working with clients to build lasting relationships and understand best how to meet their SEO needs.
- Well-rounded SEO skills and the ability to implement simultaneous, successful SEO campaigns across a variety of verticals.
- Experience in account management (desirable).
- Experience managing a team of SEOs (desirable).
