CPU Research Scientist
We are currently working with an industry-leading technology company looking for an experienced CPU research scientist to join their growing Cambridge-based team.
If successful your responsibilities would include:
- Researching novel microarchitecture optimisation techniques
- Prototyping of micro-optimisations using GEM5
- Expertise in gathering, analysing and presenting the results of mobile system profiling
- Analysis of state-of-the-art technologies for improving mobile system energy efficiency.
- Assisting in publishing papers within top-tier conferences.
Your Career to date experience will include:
- Masters/PhD in Computer Science/Engineering/Physics or similar
- Deep knowledge of microarchitecture and memory systems
- Knowledge of the GEM5 simulation framework
- Expertise in - C, C++, Python or similar scripting languages
- Knowledge of Android / Linux Kernel
- Experience in ARMv8/ARMv9
