Software Sales Specialist – Award Winning VAR


My client is an award-winning technology company who is looking to add an experienced Software Sales Specialist to join their established UK team.

The role is delivering sales growth across Software Licensing, by enabling customers to take advantage of my client’s specialised expertise in software solutions. The role carries an annual sales target broken down quarterly and based on a growth plan. The role also requires high levels of opportunity and pipeline management skills.


Software Sales Specialist Responsibilities:

  • Achieve annual gross margin targets, as set by the company at the outset of the financial year.
  • Build and maintain a strong and accurate pipeline working with the Branch Team's sufficient to achieve/exceed target.
  • Manage every aspect of the sales cycle, from generated lead and customer engagement through to deal closure and handover to delivery.
  • Qualify every opportunity using recognised tools, to ensure effort is only expanded on deals with a strong likelihood of closure.
  • Maximise revenue recognition by constructing optima commercials terms.


You will need:

  • 3+ years sales experience
  • Proven track record of delivering growth
  • Experience selling Software Licensing and Software Asset Management solutions
  • Experience of working with Private/Public sector clients
  • Experience of writing compelling responses to public sector
