Teaching Personnel has supplied tutors and educators to schools, local authorities, and Alternative Provision settings for over 26 years. In 2022, TP Tutors was established as a specialised tutoring service that oversees and implements comprehensive tuition programmes. As a key player in the education recruitment sector, we collaborate with more than 5000 schools and over 80 local authorities, and we are the preferred agency for over 12,000 job seekers.

By collaborating with over 12,000 educators, we identify the most suitable tutors to support children and young people with diverse needs, from those without school placements to those at risk of exclusion. Our high-impact tutoring serves as a pathway back to full-time education, fostering a love for learning in disadvantaged children.

We are on an exciting growth trajectory and are looking to expand our team with a Tuition Consultant.

We are a team of 5 located across Bracknell, Wimbledon and Chelmsford. The Role
As a Tuition Consultant at TP Tutors, you play a pivotal role in connecting local authority services, educational institutions, and tutors to enhance the tuition experience for all children and young people.

Prior experience in this field is not a prerequisite; what matters most is your enthusiasm and eagerness to learn. You will become part of a dynamic team, collaborating with seasoned recruiters while having ample opportunities for career advancement, with our unwavering support every step of the way.

If you decide to take on this role, your responsibilities will include:

  • Sourcing new candidates and transition existing candidates to work as tutors.
  • Managing the eligibility and vetting requirements of tutors to ensure they are suitable for work.
  • Liaising with senior leaders to structure tuition programmes in line with the requirements of the client.
  • Markets and sells tuition services to relevant new and using clients in an allocated geographical area
  • Ensuring all areas of the business are carried out in line with company policies, procedures, quality standards and values.
  • Ensuring that the highest levels of safeguarding and child and vulnerable adult protection are always maintained in line with our Child and Vulnerable Adult Protection Policy and also in line with Keeping children safe in education national guidelines.
