Are you a Maintenance Engineer who knows how to keep production lines moving like clockwork?

This business is one of the fastest in Europe, producing 500 tonnes of product weekly.

They’re the go-to supplier for major names in the food industry, and their engineering department is at the heart of it all.

Right now, they're looking for a Maintenance Engineer who’s ready to bring both skill and integrity to a role where safety, preventative maintenance, and strong communication are everything.

The Role

Your shift? 4 on / 4 off, 12 hours from 7 to 7, and you’ll be part of a well-organized, supportive team. With fewer breakdowns and more planned maintenance, you’ll have the chance to focus on keeping things running smoothly—meaning your expertise will really shine. When things don’t go to plan, they need someone who knows when to escalate, how to communicate, and why integrity is non-negotiable.

The Ideal You

  • Experience: You’ll have an apprenticeship under your belt, and ideally, you’re coming from a food manufacturing background—or somewhere with similar standards and speed, like pharma.
  • Personality: Confident, proactive, and a strong communicator. Here, arrogance doesn’t fly. They want someone who’s self-aware and serious about what they do.
  • Values: If you value safety, have high standards even when no one’s looking, and love working in a diverse team focused on shared goals, this could be a great fit for you.

What’s In It For You?

  • Salary: £43-46K, with scope to £52K for the right experience, plus overtime at 1.25x.
  • Benefits: Private healthcare, life insurance at 3x your salary, 33 days holiday pro-rata, and an annual salary review.
  • Culture: A genuinely supportive environment with strong leadership, a tight-knit team, and clear opportunities for growth. They celebrate wins together with events like an annual family day and Christmas parties, and they’re always looking for people who bring integrity and accountability to their work.

Why This Role?

This is a team that’s not just keeping up—they’re leading the way in their industry, with expansion plans on the horizon. You’ll have a chance to be part of a department with clear growth paths, great leadership, and a culture that values every team member.
