The Role
Work closely with clients and engage with stakeholders; local authorities, community groups, government representatives and residents, to ultimately ensure successful planning approval.
Client Management
- Shadow the existing three client facing executives, take over as client lead on select accounts
- Build excellent relationships with current and prospective clients
Stakeholder Engagement and Relationship Management
- Attend meetings from a parliamentary reception, to having a cup of coffee with a resident, and everything in between!
- Build, and maintain relationships with stakeholders; local authorities, planning committees, community leaders, and residents.
- Implement comms campaigns to understand the opinions of residents and local groups, work with the client on compromises that builds approval and trust
- Attend community consultation events, public meetings, and focus groups as needed, to gather feedback.
Content and press
- Draft press releases, newsletters, and other communications
- Monitor media and public sentiment around projects, creating reports to share insights with clients
- Create and manage content on digital channels to inform stakeholders on client projects; blogs and website updates
Research and Analysis
- Analyse the specifics of each planning application
- Conduct and report research on local regulations and public sentiment
- Stay updated on planning and policy changes within the real estate sector and local governance that could impact clients’ projects.
The Person
- 2-5+ years of experience in a similar or related industry
- Existing and relevant client relationships would be strongly desired
- Commercial acumen to spot opportunities, and adapt your approach to service clients
- Warm and friendly person, motivated by helping others
- Ambitious self-starter, proactive and makes things happen
- Business acumen, bringing ideas to improve performance
- Loves to visit clients, understanding their needs, and delivering high quality service
- Excellent organisational skills
- Drivers licence

- Remuneration: £28,000 - £32,000 + discretionary bonus + excellent benefits
- Location: Brighton OR London
