We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager to join our management team, reporting directly to the Managing Director. This role offers an exciting opportunity for an individual who is passionate about achieving success and driving business growth.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership: Manage, motivate, and develop the sales team to achieve targets and deliver exceptional results.
  • Market Expansion: Identify and pursue new market opportunities, particularly within the defence industry, leveraging our accredited qualifications.
  • Customer Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with customers at all levels, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Sales Strategy: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to meet business objectives.
  • Performance Monitoring: Track and report on sales metrics, forecasts, and other management requirements to ensure targets are met.
  • Contract Management: Establish and oversee supply agreements and contracts to support business growth.
  • Technical Expertise: Utilize your General Engineering background, with experience in Milling, Turning, Sheet Metal, Assembly, Plating, and Powder Coat Painting, to provide technical insights and support to the team.


Qualifications:

  • Proven track record in Sales, with excellent people management and leadership skills.
  • Strong commercial awareness and familiarity with the existing marketplace.
  • Ability to generate presentations, costings, and quotes.
  • Experience in qualifying prospective customers and developing close customer relationships.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A team player with a collaborative approach to work.
