We are a small staff/company looking for a product designer to help keep models up to date and to use our guidance to create new for our ranges. This is more of an entry level job for postgraduates to get into the sector but experience is welcome. You will be creating products set out by management for what we see the market is trending towards but will also be given the opportunity to freely make designs you think will be up and coming from your own research.
Responsibilities
- Attend Design and Furniture Exhibitions + appropriate skill events
- Understand desires of client and staff for a products requirements
- Work mostly independently with guidance
- Creation of Data Sheets
- 2D and 3D rendering of products and room layouts
- Creation of new models and revamping old models
- Research of old and new manufacturing techniques
Qualifications
- Postgraduate Product/Furniture Design
- Entry Level
- Portfolio of work/previous project would be good
- Proficient in AutoCad
- Driving License maybe required for site visits
