Due to continued growth, we are looking to add engineers to an established Engineering function for a leading food manufacturing business. The business is on a strong upwards trajectory, with growth across CAPEX projects, sales volume, NPD pipeline and general growth of category, so it would be a good time to join and advance your career with realistic growth prospects into management positions.


We are looking for multi skilled individuals, with good expertise both mechanically and electrically, with experience of working in FMCG and with packing/packaging lines. The business invest heavily in training and development of their staff and have a proven track record of organically progressing people up through the ranks of the business and you can advance through a more senior technical route or through a people management route.


We are looking for someone who has:

  • Recognised qualification - minimum of Level 3 or equivalent in Electrical/Mechanical maintenance.
  • Experience of FMCG - food/drink manufacturing preferred
  • Experience of automated packing/packaging machinery
  • A planned and pro-active approach to maintenance
  • Can drive improvements on the lines through continuous improvement/project work.


You will be working on a 4 week shift pattern, 2 weeks days, 2 weeks nights (12 hour shifts - 3s and 2s) and there is the opportunity for plenty of overtime plus good company benefits.
