Job Title: IT Recruitment Sales Director

Location: Hybrid - 3 days per week in Guildford Office

Reports To: Managing Director


Founded in 1995, Damia Group are an Employee Owned IT Recruitment Consultancy with an extensive level of experience across numerous Industry sectors, but with a focus around the Security Cleared sectors across Central Government and Defense.


Position Overview:

The Sales Director will lead and drive the sales efforts for our core IT recruitment division. You will develop and execute sales strategies to expand our client base, deepen relationships with key accounts, and position our organization as a preferred recruitment partner within the IT sector. As a seasoned sales professional with a track record in IT recruitment, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our growth trajectory and ensuring our recruitment solutions align with market demands and client expectations.


Key Responsibilities:


1. Sales Strategy and Execution

  • Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to achieve revenue/growth targets within our core IT recruitment division.
  • Identify market trends, client needs, and competitive positioning to keep sales strategies current and impactful.
  • Work closely with senior leadership to define quarterly and annual sales goals and drive initiatives to exceed them.
  • Look at the growth and development of our Staff Augmentation solution.

2. Client Acquisition and Relationship Management

  • Build and nurture strong, long-lasting client relationships with C-level executives and decision-makers in the IT sector.
  • Lead sales efforts for large, high-value accounts, ensuring solutions are tailored to meet client needs.
  • Actively pursue new business opportunities through networking, referrals, and proactive client outreach.

3. Team Leadership and Development

  • Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of sales executives, fostering a high-performance culture.
  • Recruit, train, and retain top sales talent, focusing on continuous improvement and professional development.
  • Set clear sales targets, monitor performance, and provide constructive feedback and coaching to ensure team success.

4. Cross-functional Collaboration

  • Partner closely with the Enterprise Account delivery team to ensure a seamless client experience from sales through fulfillment.
  • Collaborate with marketing on lead generation initiatives, brand positioning, and targeted sales campaigns.
  • Work with finance to ensure contracts, pricing, and profitability align with company goals and standards.

5. Market and Competitive Analysis

  • Stay informed of trends and developments in IT recruitment and workforce needs.
  • Conduct regular competitive analysis to understand market positioning, pricing, and client requirements.
  • Leverage industry insights to guide strategy and position the company as a market leader.


Qualifications:


  • Experience:
  • 8+ years of sales experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role in IT recruitment or staffing solutions.
  • Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets within a recruitment agency or similar environment.


  • Skills:
  • Exceptional knowledge of the IT industry, technology trends, and recruitment challenges within the tech sector.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with senior-level clients in large, complex organizations.
  • Strong business acumen, with experience developing and managing P&Ls.
  • Proficient in CRM software and other sales tools, with data-driven decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
