We seek a highly organised, warm and friendly client services professional to join our friendly team. You should be passionate about making a positive difference in a growing company with a great social purpose helping neurodiverse students realise their potential.
About Bright Heart Education
Bright Heart is an award-winning London-based tutoring company – we won the Tuition Business of the Year award in the 2022 National Tutoring Awards arranged by The Tutors’ Association (runners-up in 2023 and 2024). We were also an accredited Tuition Partner under the National Tutoring Programme (NTP), which ended recently.
We offer a more nurturing approach and help students with special educational needs (SEN) and those lacking confidence or motivation. Bright Heart serves London and surrounding areas in person and offers online tuition nationwide and internationally.
The role
You will be responsible for managing new leads and clients. The role will encompass elements of sales and client account management, with a main focus on our private clients. You will work alongside a client manager who focuses on non-private clients (schools and local authorities) and also work closely with an education consultant.
You should be able to quickly build rapport with new people on the telephone through your outgoing personality. In addition, you should be happy to multi-task and have excellent organisational skills, written and verbal communication, and attention to detail.
Although the role will be working from home, it will be a busy role, requiring hard work and dedication. You will need to attend periodic office days in Central London (currently monthly), as well as training in SW London, so must be within easy commuting distance of London. We also meet socially periodically.
This is a full-time role (40 hours per week), but we can discuss flexibility on working hours. For example, you could fit hours around school hours/holidays to suit a parent with children at school.

- Discussing initial tutoring requirements with clients and recording information in our tuition management system

- Client relationship management
- Reviewing and acting upon lead and client information in our management information systems
- Updating lead and client information in our management information systems as required (with support from a client support staff member)
- Helping with business development initiatives and other ad hoc projects as required
- Engaging with social media channels
- Performing certain other administrative tasks as needed
Benefits of the role
You will be working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, where you will learn quickly from working closely with the company’s directors and other experienced staff.
Other benefits include:
- Eligible for performance bonus of 15% of gross salary, and growth in remuneration with strong individual and company performance
- Career growth potential in a successful, growing company
- A respectful working environment in a purpose-driven business
- Training and professional development
- Company pension plan
- Working from home with the potential for flexi-time working and optional additional unpaid leave during the summer holidays
- Well-being initiatives include a weekly individual 30-minute online personal training session with a personal trainer and Pilates instructor paid for by the company and a monthly early Friday finish
- Team dinners/events and a friendly, welcoming team
Key skills and experience

- Strong organisational skills, an ability to multi-task and a can-do positive attitude
- Previous experience working in a similar role with demonstrable client services skills and experience
- Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and initiative, and the ability to thrive in a high-pressure environment

- Strong IT skills with Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Outlook and Word)
- Able to work appropriately with confidential and sensitive information
- An interest in education and special educational needs (SEN) and a genuine passion for helping young people achieve their potential
