MacGregor Black are partnering with an E-commerce Retailer on the search for a Financial Director. This is a permanent role which based in Hertfordshire.
As the Financial Director, you will lead financial strategy as finance number 1 in the business and ensure the company’s financial health and growth. This senior role is dedicated to managing financial operations, analysing performance, and driving business expansion.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop the finance team of five, ensuring robust financial operations
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management
- Present detailed financial analysis and manage performance reporting
- Partner with key stakeholders for CAPEX budgeting and ROI assessment
- Manage annual audits, payroll, tax computations, and compliance with statutory requirements
- Support business growth by identifying revenue and efficiency opportunities.
What are we looking for?
- Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA)
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar finance leadership role
- Strong financial acumen, technical knowledge, and cash flow expertise
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Experience operating in consumer goods business with an e-commerce sales model would be advantageous.
