CFO – Private Equity-Backed Multisite Healthcare Business
Location: Manchester, England (Hybrid)
Salary: £175,000 - £200,000 + Bonus & Equity

Finatal is partnered with a rapidly growing multisite healthcare business, recently acquired by a reputable mid-market Private Equity Investor. Operating at £50m turnover with £8m EBITDA, the business is on an exciting growth trajectory, planning to expand through both organic growth and strategic M&A initiatives. They are seeking a Chief Financial Officer to join their dynamic team as they embark on the next stage of growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with the CEO and board to drive both organic growth and M&A-led expansion across the UK.
- Build and lead a high-performing finance team, ensuring robust financial systems and processes.
- Oversee acquisitions, including due diligence, integration, and post-acquisition performance management.
- Collaborate closely with Private Equity investors, aligning the financial strategy with value creation goals.
- Manage the company’s financial structure in a leveraged environment, working with banks and financial institutions to support growth.
- Implement financial systems and reporting frameworks to support the business’s expanding operations.
Key Requirements:
- Qualified accountant (ACA Qualified or Equivalent).
- Proven experience as a CFO or No.1 in Finance within a Private Equity-backed, multisite business.
- Experience in the healthcare sector is highly desirable.
- Track record of driving growth through M&A and organic strategies.
- Strong experience in building and managing finance teams and systems.
- Expertise in working within leveraged environments and handling complex financial structures.
- Experience with acquisitions and private equity exits.
