Role Summary:

Managing Director role overseeing global sales and innovation for JLL Consulting.

Responsible for shaping and executing the regional sales strategy, driving innovation initiatives, enhancing existing consulting capabilities and identifying new core competencies, building partnerships, and fostering client relationships.

The position requires visionary leadership, strategic thinking, and a proven track record in achieving revenue growth.

The executive will lead and collaborate with teams internationally, stay abreast of industry trends, and represent the organisation at key events.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential, along with a deep understanding of the consulting sector.

Responsibilities:

  1. Strategically lead and direct global sales, focusing on expanding the consulting share of wallet on WDX Accounts via direct revenue streams, transactions, and new clients.
  2. Champion innovation and forge strategic partnerships to enhance consulting practice capabilities, foster growth, and establish a competitive edge within the industry, both internally and externally.
  3. Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients (Developers, Landlords, Investors, and Occupiers) and internal JLL stakeholders (Accounts, Client & Growth, JLLT, PDS, Sales, and Sustainability), collaborating closely to comprehend their needs and deliver tailored solutions.
  4. Provide inspirational and visionary leadership to the global sales and innovation team, setting ambitious targets and propelling performance to meet or exceed specific revenue and growth goals.
  5. Keep pace with industry trends, market dynamics, and emerging technologies, utilising such insights to guide strategic decision-making.
  6. Work in cohesion with cross-functional teams to integrate innovative solutions into client engagements.
  7. Enrich the global sales and innovation team by fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  8. Undertake regular analysis of market data and competitor activities to identify potential business opportunities and mitigate risks.
  9. Develop thought leadership and act as an ambassador for the organisation at industry events, conferences, and client quarterly business reviews to promote brand recognition and establish strategic partnerships.
  10. Design and implement effective governance models to guide the development and delivery of successful sales and marketing campaigns.

Requirements:

  1. Executive leadership experience in a global sales and innovation role within the consulting sector.
  2. Comprehensive understanding of market trends, client needs, and the competitive landscape.
  3. History of driving revenue growth and achieving individual sales targets of $5-8m p.a.
  4. Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities enable you to influence and negotiate effectively.
  5. A strategic thinker with a history of implementing successful innovation initiatives.
  6. The willingness to travel internationally as required.
