We have an exciting opportunity for a Finance Business Partner to join our Recruiting Partner Project (RPP) finance-based team. You'll have had specific responsibility for looking after the technology and project and transformation cost centres. You'll provide 'real time' support and analysis, be a trusted adviser and add value that will assist in decision making.
Successful candidates will ideally be a qualified accountant. The experience you'll get from this role will be a good commercial grounding as well as working in an interesting environment with significant national importance, you'll get lots of interaction with the client. The team meet at least every quarter, for volunteer days, team events and you'll need to travel to Upavon at least once every two weeks. Car required (no public transport)

Job Description:
What you'll be doing:
- Inputting and preparing of quarterly business reporting process, including the provision of analysis & insight around any deviation from plan and the action plan to deliver the forecast/BP
- Providing understanding of operational, commercial and financial targets are delivered for the area of their business responsibility for reforecasting
- Providing input to bids were required
- Executing robust financials controls aligned to group policy and all appropriate standards (including IFRS 15, IFRS 16).
- Inputting to the audit process and reporting on Legal Entities
- Leading or coaching of other individuals in the team including their performance and development and inputting to lifetime reviews
- Providing value added analysis on issues impacting the business and manage forecasts for the Business Units. Preparing the financial reporting data
- Taking ownership and accountability for the integrity and accuracy of P&L, balance sheet and working capital requirements
- Qualified accountant preferred, with minimum 2 years PQE
- Good business partnering experience
- Confident to work with and facilitate operational changes
- Excellent communication skills - both verbal and written - with ability to input into highly professional presentations to senior management
- Excellent analytical skills and ability to synthesise complex data and information - strong excel and experience using SAP preferred
- Able to translate financial risks to non-finance professionals
- Strongly aligned to operational colleagues
