Key Responsibilities
Design and Trend
- Create strong trend-driven, innovative and commercial knitwear collections for both customer accounts and range collections, identifying opportunities to maximise sales.
- Strong understanding of knit construction, yarns, gauges & production.
- Conduct continual trend and competitor research, store visits, and report insights.
- Present designs to customers, plan and attend meetings, and incorporate feedback into range.
- Oversee the design process, meeting critical deadlines to ensure quality.
- Participate in UK & international inspiration shopping/development trips and yarn fairs.
Skills & Experience Required
- Experience in knitwear design with a strong commercial trend portfolio.
- Illustrator and CAD software, creating detailed tech packs.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and customer relations skills.
