About the Role
Nature Masterclasses On-demand is the leading online professional development platform helping researchers with core skills essential to their career development. Designed and delivered by nature research journal editors and world re-known experts, the Nature Masterclasses On-demand courses offers a unique opportunity for early-career researchers to improve their professional development via an on-demand and online training environment.
The training sales executive role will handle new business and renewal sales for the Nature Masterclasses On-demand. Selling subscriptions to universities, research institutes and corporate research organisations.
Role Responsibilities:
- Work on outbound lead generation for new sales, through calling and emailing key stakeholders at target organisations, organising presentations and product demonstrations
- Candidate will work closely with existing clients to manage their renewals, collaborating with several internal teams to support engagement & uptake
- Candidate must have a track record of sales and ideally have a background to selling to higher education, be able to plan a strategy of outreach and new business development
Essential
- Educated to degree level or equivalent
- Experience selling B2B services with a proven track record of success
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and be fluent in English (written and spoken).
- Self-motivated and committed team player who enjoys a fast-paced and results-oriented work environment
- Experience working with a Client Management System (CMS) such as SalesForce, managing pipelines and forecasts.
- Subscription sales skills are not essential but desired, ideally to the higher education sector
- Experience dealing with renewals
- Additional language skills are desired; German, Spanish, French or Italian.
