For more, visit redditinc.com . Role Overview: We’re looking for a Senior iOS Mobile Developer with experience building high-scale applications and leading complex initiatives across teams. You will work cross-functionally with product, design, and engineering counterparts to deliver features that enhance our users’ experience. You’ll contribute to the entire development lifecycle, from design and testing to launch and post-release support. Your contributions will help set engineering standards and mentor junior engineers as part of a motivated, fast-moving team. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate across teams to execute product strategy, and create engaging, innovative products and features. Participate in the entire development process: technical design, development, testing, experimentation, analysis, and launch. Conduct code and design reviews, provide feedback on product specifications and design documents, and suggest improvements. Contribute to and set standards for development workflows, best practices, and documentation to enhance productivity and code quality. Actively mentor junior engineers, providing guidance to expand their technical skill sets. Continuously learn and develop your technical and non-technical abilities. Who You Are: Experienced iOS Mobile Developer with a track record of building user-facing applications at scale, used by millions of people. Strong Technical Background: 6 years of professional experience in iOS application development using Swift and Objective-C. Expertise in software engineering best practices, including unit/integration/end-to-end testing, CI/CD, A/B testing, code reviews, and documentation. Familiarity with general-purpose programming languages (Java, C++, Python, Rust) is a plus. Knowledge of GraphQL, REST, HTTP protocols, and designing and maintaining APIs is a bonus. Skilled Communicator: Ability to partner effectively in a remote environment and discuss complex topics with both technical and non-technical audiences. Organized and Detail-Oriented: Proven ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects to deliver on schedule. Entrepreneurial and Driven: Self-directed, innovative, and quick to act in fast-paced environments. You enjoy building new things and thrive in ambiguity and even failure. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience. 6 years of hands-on experience developing native iOS applications, specifically using Swift.
