Below are some highlights of the role and benefits, as well as essential qualifications and skills for prospective candidates: Role Overview - Position : Senior/Principal Transport Planner - Location : Sheffield, with hybrid working arrangements - Salary: £38,000 - £50,000, depending on experience - Working Hours : Standard 37.5 hours per week, typically 9am – 5:30pm, with some flexibility - Hybrid Working : Core office days on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, with flexibility to work remotely the other three days Key Responsibilities This role involves supporting development projects across the UK, providing transport planning, traffic engineering, and infrastructure design services. Responsibilities include: - Conducting Transport Assessments , transport statements , site access appraisals, and travel plans. - Involvement in highway and junction design. - Collaborating with clients and managing transport-related project components. Knowledge in highway/junction design is crucial. - Software Proficiency : Competence in ARCADY, PICADY, LinSig, TRICS, Tempro, and AutoCAD is highly desirable. - Knowledge of UK Development Planning Process : Essential for effective project support.
