What it's like to work here
You'll work as part of a large team who work across both Packwood House and Baddesley Clinton, but will be primarily based at Packwood. Reporting to the Collections and House Manager, you'll line manage three Collections Assistants, working with them to ensure the best care and conservation of the collection. This is the perfect role if you are looking to develop your people management skills, conservation knowledge, and operational experience.
This captivating 16th century Tudor manor house is renowned for its fine collection of textiles and elegant gardens. The team is focused on conservation projects, as well as providing an exceptional family-friendly visitor experience. The new café serves a delicious selection of produce grown in Packwood’s kitchen garden. Packwood House is part of a trio of properties alongside Baddesley Clinton and Coughton Court, so collaborative working between staff and volunteers is encouraged.
