I am seeking a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Technician supporting the Maintenance team looking after this large manufacturing site with their reactive, pro-active, preventative & planned maintenance. This is a great company to work for & a fantastic opportunity to join an established team. You can be either electrical or mechanical bias but should have previous experience across both disciplines on complex systems with an understanding of GMP, validation and compliance within a highly regulated sector such as Pharma or Food Manufacturing. You will be playing a key part in keeping this manufacturing site running, using your knowledge and experience to minimise maintenance costs and equipment downtime. This includes being able to understand and interpret operation and maintenance manuals, blueprints and other technical documentation. You will also have the potential to be involved in process improvement. There may be a requirement to work at height or in a confined space so you would need to be comfortable with this. This is a rotating 2 shift flexible working pattern of 38.75 hours per week. The shift pattern is currently 06:00 - 14:15 or 13:45 - 22:00 Monday to Friday, with weekend cover, on standby on rotation (approximately 1 in 4). So, what do we need from you? Ideally Apprenticeship trained with a level 3 and above qualification - City & Guilds, NVQ level 3 or ONC. Competent in maintenance of facilities, process equipment and utilities. Skilled at fault diagnosis and problem solving. Excellent written and spoken English skills Able to drive due to location of site What can you expect in return?
