Lead Front End Engineer

Job Title: Lead Front-End Engineer Employment Type: Permanent Salary: £85,000 - £95,000 Location: Hybrid/London ( 2 days in , 3 WFH ) Overview: On the hunt for an experienced Lead Front-End Engineer to drive a front-end team based in London. You’ll lead development of high-performance, responsive web applications, setting the technical direction and best practices across the team. With a focus on React and Angular, you’ll collaborate closely with design and product teams to deliver an exceptional user experience. Responsibilities: Lead and mentor a team of front-end engineers, promoting best practices. Develop, maintain, and optimize web applications with a focus on performance and accessibility. Define front-end architecture, ensuring scalability and security. Collaborate across teams to translate requirements into intuitive interfaces. Requirements: 6 years in front-end development, with 2 years in a lead role. Strong expertise in JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, React, and Angular. Familiarity with responsive design, accessibility standards, and cross-browser compatibility. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Must have the right to work in the UK Preferred Skills: TypeScript, Redux, RxJS, front-end testing tools (e.g., Jest), and Agile/Scrum experience.
