Lead Software Engineer - Team Lead Salary £65-80k benefits remote working options A Lead Software Engineer / Software Team Lead to join an established company developing greenfield software applications for good causes across the UK. The company are firmly established in the ‘Tech For Good‘ space and promote training and progression from within and offer a flexible remote working structure. The Lead Software Engineer will report to the Head of Engineering and lead an Agile development team in the creation of the company‘s SaaS products and greenfield features & applications. The role will remain hands-on but holds team and tech leadership responsibilities for the product team. Essential requirements: Prior experience of leading projects and teams (Developers, QA, Product staff, etc) Experience of tech delivery and translating user/client requirements A background in C# and SQL software development (5 years experience) Commercial experience with .NetCore or MVC and Azure The ability to implement Agile and DevOps processes Passion for writing good code, following coding best practice, SOLID principles or similar An excellent communicator, able to communicate with senior leadership Desirables: Experience of scale-up or large-scale digital transformation Pair programming Test automation Additional information: This role is flexible with it‘s remote working but will require onsite work on occasion. Initially this is likely to be on a 1-2 times per week basis with additional flex (1x per month) offered after you have settled in. Candidates must be eligble to work in the UK as a British Citizen or have Indefinte Leave to Remain / Settled Status visa‘s.
