As a Lead Developer , you will be responsible for a team which delivers new functionality to improve the Propeller application and in-turn supports the company’s growth as more business is generated through it. As a Lead Developer, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with product owners and business analysts regarding ongoing product development, ultimately ensuring the quality of the product through leading a team of engineers on sprint planning, sprint reviews, and a commitment to continuous improvement. Role responsibilities; Be the line manager and first line leader for your team; support the professional and technological development of your direct reports. Support the development of team members through 1-2-1’s, coaching, and guidance. Working alongside other project teams, oversee the development and delivery of a complex digital product that ultimately supports commercial business priorities Perform code reviews on team members’ contributions and sign off on code changes to the application. Perform PHP developer responsibilities as required to a level expected of a senior engineer or technical expert. Key skills required; Excellent knowledge of software development using PHP and Laravel An understanding of Linux Experience of using and developing REST API’s Excellent knowledge of MySQL and Mongo DB Working knowledge Vue.js, Vuex (or another similar JavaScript framework) AWS experience Comprehensive experience as a senior developer who has owned delivery and support of one or more projects.
