Their products power innovative technologies across the medical, aerospace, and military sectors, including solar arrays that power satellites and the Jodrell Bank observatory‘s gear systems. As an Embedded Software Engineer with KO2‘s client, you‘ll be at the heart of developing electronics that drive sophisticated motors in space applications. Your primary role will involve core embedded software development on ARM-based systems, where you will write C code that integrates seamlessly with electronic circuit design. Ideal candidates will have strong embedded software skills, specifically in C on ARM, along with one or more of the following: General electronics knowledge (Analogue and Digital) Power electronics for motor control and drives Human user interface skills using Python and QT to create GUIs This position offers an excellent opportunity to learn and grow under the mentorship of an experienced R&D manager with 20 years of University teaching experience.
