Job Title: Small Works Engineer Location: Bristol and surrounding areas (Bath, Wiltshire, South Gloucestershire) Salary: £33,000 - £40,000 (depending on experience) Overtime Experience Required: Minimum 10 years Role Overview: This Small Works Engineer role focuses on small to medium remedial works, installations, and additions across all fire and security systems. The small works team currently consists of two engineers, with plans to expand to four. Youll play a vital role in delivering high-quality services while contributing to the growth of this department. Role Requirements: 1 in 6 on-call rotation (£180 standby for a Friday-to-Friday week) 8-hour working day, excluding 30 minutes travel each way 25 days holiday Full PPE and tools provided (SDS, combi, impact driver, commissioning software, test kit, multimeter, etc.) Transport & Equipment: Company-provided car or van iPhone, laptop, and relevant test kit included A training plan is available with opportunities for further skill development and career advancement in a rapidly expanding department. Fire Systems Expertise (Essential): Gent Advanced Kentec Morley Advantageous: Protec Zettler Ziton Security Systems Expertise Intruder (Essential): Texecom Galaxy CCTV (Essential): Hikvision Hanwha Door Access (Essential): Paxton Salto Advantageous: Alcea Gallagher Sateon Additional Skills: Strong networking/IT skills Full UK driving licence Gent Engineer number (advantageous)
