NOCN Group are seeking a freelance End Point Assessor with significant experience as an Engineering Fitter, to help carry out End Point Assessments for the Engineering Fitter apprenticeship Standard. Location: Remote. Hours: Worker Contract, Freelance Duties and Responsibilities: Assessing the apprentice against the relevant Knowledge, Skills and Behaviours via their Project Report, Multiple Choice Test and Professional discussion supported by their Portfolio of Evidence in accordance with the End Point Assessment plan. Upload reports from the assessments in a timely manner and in line with NOCN‘s service level agreements. Prepare for assessments in a timely manner and be able to identify gaps in the apprentice‘s KSBs Be able to build a quick rapport with apprentices to ensure that they can perform their best within assessments Maintaining hands on CPD in their subject area to ensure knowledge is up to date. Represent NOCN in a professional manner when conducting assessments. Adhering to GDPR practices and ensuring all data is secure. NOCN will provide full training on our internal quality assurance processes and how to conduct these. Role Requirements Must possess current knowledge on the following areas: Engineering fitting techniques, installation and assembly of components, Health and Safety. Recent relevant experience of the occupation/sector or significant experience of the occupation or sector. Hold an independent assessor qualification such as a CAVA/A1. Hold an engineering qualification at Level 3 or above. Current experience in the Fitting sector or have evidence of a minimum of 5 days continuing professional development per year related to the fitting sector.
