This is a rare greenfield opportunity to work for a global hedge fund with over 30 years of investment experience, offering the chance to gain exposure to various teams and specialized pods throughout the organization. As a Software Engineer within Treasury Execution, you will collaborate with Traders and Portfolio Managers to deploy advanced software solutions that support efficient trade settlement, enhance risk management strategies, and optimize treasury operations. You will have the chance to directly influence the design of new software applications and play a key role in driving our client‘s exciting technical evolution. Responsibilities - Design and develop a robust next-generation Treasury platform. Build scalable systems to enhance real-time trade settlement procedures. Analyze large financial datasets to provide actionable insights to increase fund efficiency and manage liquidity risk. Evaluate trade performance metrics to assess and implement technical solutions for Traders and Portfolio Managers. Client Expectations – Strong Computer Science fundamentals and highly skilled in Python. Demonstrated ability of working with distributed systems with strong aptitude in system design, maintenance and development. Excellent communication skills with clear desire to work in a fast-paced and collaborative team spanning Quantitative Research, Trading, and Technology. Intellectual curiosity and motivation to broaden industry knowledge. Minimum bachelor’s degree in Quantitative Finance, Computer Science, Mathematics, or hard STEM field.
