Our client holds an excellent reputation within its industry with clients based throughout the UK. They receive great feedback from clients in relation to the high levels of customer service they deliver. They have a head office based in Tiverton with a team on on-site engineers working remotely, remote working is available for this role however you must live local to Tiverton as you will be required to occasionally work from the office. This role is starting immediately for two months with the possibility of being extended, depending on business needs.Key duties and responsibilities:Managing sensitive, lower-level ER cases, including grievances, disciplinary actions, and sickness absence.Conducting investigations and providing expert guidance to ensure compliance with employment law.Handling employee and manager queries, providing timely and accurate HR advice.Ensuring employee satisfaction through prompt and effective communication.Drafting critical HR documents such as disciplinary letters, contracts, and other employment-related correspondence.Ensuring all documentation is accurate, legally compliant, and professionally presented.Assisting in the creation and updating of HR policies and procedures to align with best practices and legal standardsProviding expert HR advice on performance management, absence management, employee engagement, and discipline to help managers address employment issues proactivelyEssential skills and qualities:Minimum CIPD Level 5Good knowledge of HR best practices and employment lawExceptional organisational skills for managing HR documentation and processes.Effective communicationAbility to clearly and confidently communicate HR matters to all levels of the organisationWillingness to work closely with the HR team to maintain seamless HR service deliveryAbility to prioritise and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environmentAbility to remain composed when managing sensitive ER cases and under tight deadlinesIf you possess the required skills and experience and you are available immediately, then please apply online or send your CV directly to
