Our client is a leading, well established and respected manufacturingbusiness. Due to company growth, they have an opportunity for an Electrical DesignEngineer to join the team.Duties: ·Conceptualand detailed design and development of machinery for use within the convertingindustry. ·Design ofsophisticated control systems including variable speed drives, PLC and fieldbus systems ·Transform awritten specification into a complete design including a set of schematic drawingsand a complete bill of materials within the company ERP system ·Design formanufacture and assembly ·Liaisingwith suppliers on bought out components and with other departments ·Developmentof test plans and procedures ·Lead orsupport contractual and development projects to aggressive timescales andbudgets Requirements: Experience with EPLAN or AutoCAD Electrical Thorough understanding of engineering principles including Electrical Circuit Diagrams and symbols Familiarity with EN60204 and EN13849 Good communication skills and a positive attitude to teamwork Understanding of Pneumatics and Hydraulics A highly motivated individual who can work equally well alone or within a team environment with minimal supervision Experience working in a cross-functional design environment
