Working closely with both business stakeholders and our third party platform providers, the role develops a deep understanding of how the systems work, to provide technical support in investigating and resolving issues, and triaging requests. To succeed in this role, you need to have a natural analytical way of thinking along with an eye for detail and be a first-class problem solver. Previous experience of investments will help you to translate our user requirements.You need to be delivery focused, able to multi-task and very much a team player. You will get access to a wide range of different technical disciplines and must be comfortable working within a flexible and progressive environment.Key ResponsibilitiesLevel 2 technical support of our core Wealth Management platforms.Work with our suppliers and internal development teams in incident, request, and change management processes.Prioritising technical issues based on impact and urgency.Managing a queue of incidents and requests, ensuring work notes are maintained.Provide support for application configuration, releases and upgrades.Problem analysis and resolution for application problems, in conjunction with the business users and third party suppliers where necessary.Participation in testing and release management.Investigating root cause analysis and identifying trends.Support research, analysis, and implementation of new processes.Data analysis and production of ad-hoc reports.Routine maintenance and monitoring of our applications.Participate in user and supplier workshops and forums.Support application adoption across the businessSupport occasional weekend and out of hours activitiesUser set up and maintenanceQualificationsKey Skills and ExperiencePrevious experience of working in Wealth Management or similarAn understanding of wealth management or financial services products and processesProficient IT skills in core Microsoft Office systemsexperience in an Application Support role or similar.Experience / awareness of SQL, Rest API, JIRA, and ConfluenceProfessional Qualifications and EducationCISI qualifications desirable.Key CompetenciesExcellent communicator with an ability to build strong working relationshipsExcellent analytical skills and experience in a technical domainAbility to translate complex technical issues into plain EnglishAbility to work effectively under pressure and to tight deadlinesA can-do attitude to problem solving with ability to think on your feetAbility to multitaskResponsible for management and escalation of issuesAbility to document, share knowledge and best practices across the teamSelf-motivated and innovative with a great attention to detailAdditional InformationAs a colleague here at Evelyn Partners, you will have access to benefits that include:Competitive salaryPrivate medical insuranceLife assurancePension contributionHybrid working model (role dependant)Generous holiday packageOption to purchase additional holidayShared parental leaveWe are proud to value the differences that a diverse workforce brings, representative of society and our clients.
