We are now recruiting for a Production Supervisor to join our Operations department. You will be responsible for helping to achieve the Company’s on time delivery by ensuring that vehicles are manufactures correctly, cost effectively and delivered on time, in accordance with customer build specification and quality requirements. Main duties of the role are: Manage and regularly review production progress against deadline targets to ensure on time delivery, ensure Production Manager is notified of any possible deviation to plan. Manage production/quality processes, equipment being used, and the working environments to ensure they are conducive to producing a high-quality product/service. Establish goals and objectives for self and team and implement accordingly to help support/improve job performance Carry out daily meetings with team to ensure full communication, understanding and transparency of real time targets/KPIs and any issues are discussed and resolved Motivate and empower team to achieve objectives/KPI’s and drive forward Company core values. Inspire team to incorporate solutions and improvements into their daily work Promote a culture of working safely and introduce initiatives to encourage this To be effective in this role, you will have a proven work history at management level from an Engineering, Automotive or Manufacturing background. You will have a proven track record of achieving production output targets with quality and cost parameters, be a good communicator and people leader with excellent planning and organising skills and have experience of cost savings in a high mix/low volume environment. Hours of work are Monday – Wednesday 7am – 6pm & Thursday 7am – 5.30pm and the salary is £37,500-42,500 PA DOE. This position offers a superb opportunity to join a progressive and committed company.
