We are now recruiting for an Assistant Supervisor to join our busy Valet department. You will work collaboratively with the Valet Supervisor to ensure standards are met. This will include monitoring the productivity of the team, focusing on high quality and efficiency whilst ensuring Health and Safety rules and procedures are adhered to. The key responsibilities are: Support and assist team members, if required, to ensure work is completed in a timely manner and to the required standards Working amongst the Valet team at all times to ensure adequate support for quality and efficiency purposes Offer guidance and direction to any team members struggling with quality and efficiency standards Work with Valet supervisor and colleagues to ensure correct usage and storage of relevant chemicals Encourage and collaborate with colleagues to ensure that all relevant Health and Safety requirements are adhered to. This is including, but not limited to, administration of department risk assessments, liaising with Valet supervisor and Group Health and Safety Manager to ensure H&S compliance and encouraging colleagues to ensure their areas, and the department in general, are safe and clear of any hazards Work with colleagues to ensure 100% quality of vehicles valeted, this can include quality checking vehicles as they are produced to ensure adherence to expected standard. Update, record and collate all findings from quality checks done and report any concerns to the Valet supervisor and colleagues on a weekly basis. To be effective in this role, you will have previous experience of valeting and have experience of working in a supervisor role or similar. You will have the ability to guide and mentor others. A Driving licence is essential for this role. Hours of work are Monday-Wednesday, 7am-6pm and Thursday, 7am-5.30pm and the salary is £27.5k per annum.
